Frekhaug functional fitness/ maxfitness — HYROX Gym

Frekhaug functional fitness/ maxfitness brings structured, coach-led training to the heart of Frekhaug, combining a compact gym floor with a dedicated functional fitness box. Through small-group sessions, the team introduces members to Krieger Boxtraining, a distinctive concept offered at three levels so beginners and experienced athletes can train side by side and still be challenged. The philosophy goes beyond pure strength work to focus on technique, coordination, conditioning, mastery and genuine enjoyment of training. As part of the national sports federation, the gym emphasizes a social, inclusive atmosphere where everyone, from younger members to seniors, can progress at their own pace and try new things. The functional fitness area shares the building with the Max Fitness strength and cardio space, making it easy to mix group classes with individual training in one familiar community hub.
