First Class Fitness — HYROX Gym in Tanfield

First Class Fitness is a dedicated strength and conditioning gym serving the Tanfield and wider North East community. With a focus on functional training, the gym combines barbell work, conditioning pieces and mixed-modal workouts to build real-world strength and fitness. Members can choose from coached group sessions, open gym access and tailored personal training, allowing beginners and experienced lifters alike to train in a structured, supportive environment. The coaching team programs progressive sessions that blend lifting, cardio and bodyweight movements, helping members improve performance, body composition and confidence. The atmosphere is friendly and hard-working, with small groups that make it easy to get to know coaches and fellow members. The space is laid out for lifting platforms, rigs and conditioning zones rather than rows of machines, creating a focused training environment where every session has a clear purpose.
