CrossFit Thumbs Up is South Tampa’s longest running CrossFit gym, founded in 2011 by a husband-and-wife team of passionate athletes. Here, functional training is delivered in an 8,000 sq ft facility that combines classic CrossFit programming with dedicated classes for beginners, kids, and performance-focused athletes. The gym offers CrossFit classes throughout the week, specialized HYROX sessions, CrossFit Kids for ages 4–9, and 24/7 open gym access for members who want extra flexibility. Members train with a large variety of equipment and benefit from thoughtful recovery amenities including a cold plunge, infrared sauna, and cold towels. The atmosphere is welcoming but hard-working, attracting everyone from first-time members to high school athletes, all encouraged by supportive coaching and a tight-knit community. Monthly fitness challenges and community-driven events help keep motivation high and make training at CrossFit Thumbs Up a consistent, goal-oriented experience.
