UL Sport — HYROX Gym in Limerick

UL Sport Gym is the central health and performance hub on the University of Limerick campus, designed to serve both serious athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts. This 5,500 square foot facility is laid out in two clear training zones: a comprehensive cardiovascular area and a versatile resistance and free weight space. With over a hundred pieces of modern machines, including smart tech upgrades such as stair climbers and glute drives, the gym offers varied options for structured cardio, strength work and conditioning. The team positions UL Sport as a holistic performance gym, with highly qualified staff who can guide members on training, nutrition, weight management and sport psychology. They actively support all levels, from beginners focused on weight loss to performance-driven athletes, and also provide dual‑purpose equipment to accommodate users with disabilities.
