Rotterdam, often hosting major indoor events, is around 25 kilometres away and can be reached by car in about 25 minutes or via metro and train in roughly 35 to 45 minutes. Amsterdam, another frequent HYROX destination, lies about 80 kilometres northeast, with direct train connections from nearby Rotterdam taking around one hour, or 60 to 75 minutes by car depending on traffic. International options are equally accessible: Brussels in Belgium is about 150 kilometres south and reachable by high-speed train from Rotterdam in around 1 hour 10 minutes, or roughly two hours by car. Düsseldorf in Germany, another common HYROX city, is approximately 220 kilometres away, taking about 2.5 to 3 hours by car or similar by international rail with a change in Utrecht or Arnhem. With Rotterdam The Hague Airport just 20 to 30 minutes from Maassluis, and Schiphol Airport about 50 minutes away by car or train, flying to HYROX races in other European cities is straightforward.
