Malaga and Seville, both frequent HYROX hosts, are roughly 140–200 km away; athletes can drive there in about 1.5–2.5 hours or take regional buses and train connections via nearby hubs. From Algeciras, Madrid and Barcelona are accessible by a mix of train and car or short internal flights from Malaga or Gibraltar airports, opening additional race options across the season. For cross-border HYROX events, Portugal and France are also within realistic reach. Lisbon or Porto can be reached by flying from Malaga or by longer road trips, while French cities such as Lyon or Paris are best accessed via flights from Malaga, Gibraltar or Sevilla. These airports are generally 1–2 hours by car or bus from Algeciras, giving athletes flexible travel combinations to plan race weekends across Spain and Western Europe.
