Madrid and other major Spanish cities are accessible by direct train from Girona station or with a short connection via Barcelona, making weekend race trips straightforward. Cross-border travel is also simple. The French border is around 60 km to the north, and cities such as Perpignan can be reached by car in about 1 hour or by regional train, opening access to HYROX events in France.
