Parks, promenades and varied terrain allow athletes to mix road running, hill efforts and conditioning, mirroring the demands of the HYROX race format. The cooler, often humid climate also helps athletes adapt to changing conditions and manage pacing and recovery. While Naron does not yet host its own official HYROX race, athletes are well positioned to reach major Spanish events. HYROX competitions in cities such as Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca are accessible from Naron via a combination of car, train and plane. A drive to A Coruna airport takes around 45 minutes, offering direct or one-stop connections to Madrid and Barcelona, and onward links to other HYROX cities. Madrid can also be reached by train from A Coruna in roughly 3 to 4 hours, then local transport to the venue. Driving to Bilbao typically takes about 6 to 7 hours, opening the door to northern Spain races and onward road connections into France and Portugal for cross-border events. This mix of regional road links, rail services and nearby airports allows Naron-based athletes to plan flexible race calendars across Spain and neighboring countries without complex travel logistics.
