Although Tenerife does not yet host an official HYROX event, it is very well connected to major race cities in Spain and Europe. From Tenerife South and Tenerife North airports, direct flights link the island with Madrid and Barcelona, both regular hosts of HYROX competitions, usually in under three hours. Valencia, Málaga and other Spanish mainland cities are also reachable with one-stop connections, making long HYROX weekends easy to plan. For athletes keen on exploring international races, frequent flights connect Tenerife with major hubs such as London, Lisbon, Paris and several German cities, often in three to four hours. From these hubs, high-speed trains and short domestic flights provide straightforward onward access to HYROX venues across the UK, Portugal, France and Germany. On the mainland, renting a car or using intercity trains allows flexible travel between airports, accommodation and event arenas, turning every HYROX race trip into a smooth, multi-city adventure.
