Stockton does not yet host an official HYROX race, but athletes are well placed to reach major West Coast events. The closest regular competitions are typically held in large Californian metros such as San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and Los Angeles, with occasional races in other major US cities. From Stockton, the Bay Area is about 80–90 miles away, reachable by car in around 1.5–2 hours or by Amtrak to Oakland or San Jose with local transfers. Sacramento is roughly 50 miles north, about one hour by car or train. For further US or cross-border events, Stockton travelers can fly from nearby Sacramento International Airport or Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose airports, connecting to HYROX races across the United States and into Canada. This combination of road, rail and air options makes it straightforward for Stockton competitors to access the wider HYROX circuit.
