The Box — HYROX Gym in Groningen

The Box is a WOD-style functional fitness gym on the west side of Groningen, designed for people who want structured, coach-led training in a small-group setting. Group classes are capped at around 12 participants, so coaches can focus on your technique and progression while you work through varied workouts combining weightlifting, gymnastics and cardio elements. Alongside its WOD and performance-focused sessions, The Box offers Hyrox-oriented training blocks for those who enjoy combining running and functional movements, as well as open gym hours to train independently on specific skills or strength work. The team brings years of experience in fitness, CrossFit, personal training and physiotherapy, creating a professional yet relaxed environment where quality comes before quantity. After training you can unwind in the coffee lounge, connect with other members and take part in regular extra activities that make the gym feel more like a second home than just a place to work out.
