HYROX Miami
About the event
HYROX Miami 2019 marks the triumphant arrival of the competition in North America, the first event outside Europe on October 19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. In season 2, this inaugural US edition draws the world's top athletes, including Hunter McIntyre who dominates the pro race in 1h00:27, ahead of record-holder Lukas Storath, winning $2500 and an invitation to the 2020 World Championships. The event unfolds amid the buzz of an iconic coastal city, with pristine beaches and Art Deco architecture as backdrop, turning the convention center into a buzzing arena. Unique for its pioneering role, it catapults HYROX onto the international stage, blending 8km of running with eight intense functional stations like SkiErg, sled push, and burpees, in an electric atmosphere uniting 3000 competitors of all levels. Memorable for its crushing victory and foundational impact, HYROX Miami lays the groundwork for explosive growth.
