Rota does not yet host its own HYROX race, but athletes benefit from straightforward access to official competitions across Spain and Portugal. The closest major Spanish venues are typically HYROX Málaga and HYROX Madrid, with seasonal events also held in Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca. From Rota, Málaga is around 230 km away, reachable in about 2.5 to 3 hours by car, or via train connections from nearby Cádiz or Jerez. Madrid lies roughly 650 km to the north, accessible by a short domestic flight from Jerez or Seville, or in about 5.5 to 6 hours by car and high-speed rail links via Seville. For cross-border options, HYROX races in Lisbon and other Portuguese cities can be reached by car or bus in around 5 to 6 hours, depending on the route. Seville Airport, about 120 km from Rota, serves as the main hub for both national and international flights to HYROX destinations across Europe.
