Málaga, on the southern Mediterranean coast, is around 500 kilometers away, reachable in approximately five to six hours by car or by combining train routes. For longer trips, Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport, less than 30 minutes from Mutxamel by car, connects athletes to Barcelona and other Spanish or European HYROX destinations by direct flight. Barcelona can also be reached by high-speed or long-distance trains from Alicante, with travel times of around five to six hours depending on the service.
