Cross-border options can also be realistic: Calgary or Vancouver in Canada may be accessible for athletes willing to fly, and both can be combined with a direct trip from Missoula through connecting air routes. By road, western Canadian cities are usually a long drive and are less convenient than flying. For nearby regional travel, Spokane is also a common overland gateway at roughly 250 miles, about 4 to 5 hours by car, though official HYROX availability should always be checked for each season.
