Seattle is the closest large hub, roughly 35 miles north, reachable in about 45 minutes by car or around an hour by regional train, making it a practical base for events hosted there. Farther afield, West Coast races in cities such as Portland, Vancouver BC, and California metros can be reached via direct flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, as well as longer road trips on the I-5 corridor. Cross-border travel to Canadian events is straightforward by car or plane, giving Tacoma athletes multiple options to experience official HYROX competitions without complex logistics.
