Canberra is roughly 340 km away by car, around 3.5 hours, offering another potential base if future races are scheduled there. Sydney is approximately 550 km from Wodonga, reachable in 6 to 7 hours by car or by direct train from Albury. For international HYROX events, athletes can fly from Albury Airport to Sydney or Melbourne and connect to major airports in New Zealand or Asia, opening up race opportunities in nearby countries with a single same‑day travel itinerary.
