Auckland, the most likely host for HYROX competitions, is about 125 km north; driving via State Highway 1 takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, and intercity buses offer a similar travel time. Wellington, another potential venue, lies roughly 520 km south, reachable in about 6.5 to 7.5 hours by car or by domestic flight from Hamilton Airport via Auckland. From Auckland International Airport, athletes can also fly to HYROX races in nearby countries such as Australia, with Sydney and Melbourne around 3 to 4 hours away by plane.
