About HyCoach

HyCoach consolidates HYROX race results into athlete profiles, city and club pages, event pages and prediction tools. This page answers the four questions worth asking of any site that publishes numbers: who runs it, who writes it, how it pays for itself, and what it deliberately does not do.

Who publishes this site

HyCoach is published by BLOCK-OPS, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered in Tours, France. Company number, VAT number, registered address, publication director and hosting provider are all listed in full on the legal notice — not because the law is the interesting part, but because a site that publishes performance data should be reachable and accountable in a way that can be checked.

Who writes the editorial pages

The guides in the Discover section — race format, stations, divisions, warm-up, recovery, supplements — are written by Damien Nestelhut, who founded HyCoach and races HYROX himself in the 35–39 age group. Data pages such as athlete profiles, city pages and club listings are generated from the database and carry no byline: nobody writes them, they are computed.

See the full race record

This is stated for a simple reason: advice about pacing a race reads differently depending on whether the person writing it has run one. The record above is generated from the same database as every other athlete profile on the site, and it is not curated.

Independence

HyCoach is not owned by, paid by, affiliated with or endorsed by HYROX GmbH or any of its partners. HYROX is a registered trademark of HYROX GmbH and is used here only to identify the sport and its events. Club and brand names appear for identification purposes only.

How the site is funded

Being clear about the money is part of being trustworthy about the numbers.

  • Everything an athlete uses — results, profiles, rankings, city and club pages, prediction tools — is free and stays free.
  • Revenue comes from gyms and coaches who pay to claim and enrich their listing. Paying does not change a club's ranking, its visibility in search, or any figure shown on the site.
  • There are no affiliate links and no paid inclusion: nothing here earns a commission when you buy a product, and no club or coach can buy its way into a listing.
  • A small number of editorial pages carry a clearly labelled partner section, marked as sponsored in the page's own markup. A partner never decides what the article around it says, and nothing is recommended because of it.

What this site is not

  • It is not a medical, nutritional or coaching authority. Training and supplement guides are general information and say so.
  • It is not an official HYROX channel. For entries, rules and timing disputes, the organiser is the only authority.
  • It is not a leaderboard of record. Rankings reflect the data we hold, and that data can be incomplete or wrong — which is why reporting an error is a documented process rather than an afterthought.
