Hyères is connected to the regional road network by the A570 motorway, which links the city with Toulon and the A50. Toulon–Hyères Airport is located in the eastern part of the city and handles domestic and selected international flights. Local Mistral network buses connect the railway station, city centre, port, beaches and Giens peninsula, including routes serving the airport and coastal districts. Public parking areas are distributed around the town centre, railway station, port and major beaches. Taxis and cycling routes also operate within the urban area.
