Ålesund is connected by Ålesund Airport, Vigra, on the island of Vigra. Airport buses connect the terminal with Ålesund city centre; services include routes 651 and 652, while the Flybussen FB65 also links the airport with central Ålesund. Taxis and rental cars are available at the airport. Road access to the city includes the E136 and E39, with connections through the regional road network and bridges and tunnels serving the surrounding islands. Local FRAM buses operate in Ålesund, including city services and the 21 night bus. The city has public parking facilities in and around the centre, while Ålesund Airport provides short-term, business and economy parking areas. The central bus station provides local and regional bus connections.
