Sylmar is connected by road through Interstate 5, Interstate 405 and Interstate 210, with local access from Foothill Boulevard, San Fernando Road and Roxford Street. The Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink station at 12219 Frank Modugno Drive serves the Antelope Valley Line and provides rail connections toward Los Angeles Union Station, Van Nuys, Sun Valley, Burbank and Santa Clarita. Local bus service includes LADOT DASH Sylmar, with stops linking the Metrolink station, Hubbard Street, Foothill Boulevard and Los Angeles Mission College.
