Barry is connected by road through the A4050 from west Cardiff and Culverhouse Cross, the A4055 from Cardiff International Sports Village and Dinas Powys, the A4226 from Cowbridge, Bridgend and Cardiff Airport, and the B4265 and B4267 from the surrounding Vale of Glamorgan. Barry, Barry Docks, Barry Island and Cadoxton railway stations are served by Transport for Wales on the Vale of Glamorgan and Valley Lines networks. Rail services connect Barry with Cardiff Central, Cardiff Queen Street, Bridgend, Rhoose Cardiff International Airport and the South Wales Valleys. Cardiff Bus routes 93, 94, 95 and 96 link Barry with Cardiff and nearby communities, while route 304 connects Cardiff, Cardiff Airport and Barry. King’s Square bus station serves the town centre. Cardiff Airport lies east of Barry and connects with the town by route 304.
