Capalaba is connected by road through Moreton Bay Road, Redland Bay Road, Old Cleveland Road, and nearby arterial routes linking Brisbane and the Redlands Coast. Brisbane Airport is approximately 25 kilometres away by road. Driving access from Brisbane uses the Gateway Motorway and connecting eastern suburbs roads. Capalaba has no railway station; rail passengers can connect through Brisbane or nearby rail stations before continuing by bus. Capalaba Bus Station on Redland Bay Road is the main local interchange, with routes including 240, 241, 250, 252, 253, 254, 260, 262, 263, 264, 266, 270, 273, 275, and N250. Route 243 links Capalaba with Brisbane City. Capalaba Park ‘n’ Ride provides designated commuter parking, while shopping centres in the central precinct provide customer car parks.
