HYROX BILBAO

Bilbao and the surrounding Barakaldo area provide a wide range of accommodation options to suit every race plan and budget. You will find modern city hotels, serviced apartments and smaller guesthouses, many within easy reach of public transport and the main event venue. Athletes can choose practical, no‑frills stays close to the course for minimal transfers, while supporters may opt for central locations to combine race viewing with sightseeing. Most options offer early breakfast possibilities, secure luggage storage and good access to shops and services for last‑minute race needs. With efficient local infrastructure, clear signage and welcoming hospitality, visitors can expect a comfortable, stress‑free base for their HYROX Bilbao weekend.

Reaching HYROX Bilbao is straightforward thanks to the city’s strong transport links. Bilbao Airport connects with major European hubs, and from there participants can use buses, taxis or car rentals to get into the city and towards Barakaldo. An efficient metro and local train network makes it easy to move between central Bilbao, the exhibition area and nearby neighbourhoods. Athletes are advised to arrive with enough time to collect race packs, familiarize themselves with the venue and adjust to local weather conditions. Planning your route in advance, checking public transport schedules and allowing extra time on race morning will help you stay relaxed and focused. Comfortable footwear, layered clothing and hydration ready for check‑in are practical preparation tips.
