The closest major HYROX events typically take place in Copenhagen and other large Nordic or northern German cities, all reachable without complex travel. From Esbjerg, Copenhagen is about 300 km away by road, roughly 3 to 3.5 hours by car and similar by train with one or two changes. Cross-border trips are straightforward as well: Hamburg and other German hosts are around 250 to 300 km from Esbjerg, about 3 to 4 hours by car, with rail options via Kolding and the Danish–German corridor. Billund Airport, roughly 60 km from Esbjerg and about an hour’s drive, opens fast connections to HYROX venues across Europe, including the Netherlands, the UK and Scandinavia.
