Copenhagen and Aarhus are among the closest major hubs, both reachable by car or train, with travel times of roughly 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the destination and route. From Ikast, Billund Airport is around an hour’s drive, opening up quick flights to HYROX races across Europe, including Hamburg, Berlin and other German cities where the sport first took off. Cross-border trips are simple: driving to northern Germany typically takes 3 to 4 hours, while trains via Aarhus or Copenhagen connect to Swedish cities such as Malmö and Gothenburg.
