From Risskov, athletes can drive to Aarhus city center in around 15–20 minutes, while Copenhagen is about three hours by car or high-speed train, making day or weekend trips straightforward. Cross-border travel is also simple. Hamburg in northern Germany, a frequent HYROX host city, is roughly four to five hours away by car or train, opening up additional race options for Danish athletes. To reach other Nordic competitions, Aarhus and Copenhagen airports offer direct or connecting flights to cities like Oslo and Stockholm, usually in under two hours of flight time.
